Postnatal Reformer Pilates

These classes aim to help you regain your abdominal and pelvic floor strength, helping you to get ready to return to exercise and cope with the physical demands of looking after a baby.

Using springs and pulleys to create resistance or provide support to positions, the Reformer is a great way to start exercising postnatally.

Tuesday & Thursday AM classes are taught by a Physiotherapist with particular training in the assessment and treatment of postnatal musculoskeletal problems (separated abdominals, pelvic pain, pelvic floor weakness) as well as ante & postnatal Reformer pilates. Thursday PM classes are taught by Pilates instructor Ashley.

These classes run face to face in our Cults clinic.

Babies are very welcome at the classes, but due to the moving parts of the Reformer we ask that babies remain in their buggy/pram/bouncy seat for the duration of the class. We try to keep these classes pretty informal, so don’t worry if babies need changed or fed during the session. We’ll also happily push prams or cuddle little ones if it helps.

Classes run on a pay-as-you-go basis at £15.00 each. We hope this allows you more flexibility than signing up for a 6-pack at £81.00. This 6 pack of classes is transferable to our regular Reformer classes once you feel ready to move on.

No previous Reformer experience is required.
