Pregnancy Reformer Pilates

There is much support for exercise during pregnancy, with recommendations for the integration of a variety of aerobic and muscle strengthening activities (RCOG, 2017)

Pilates classes using the Reformer offer a low impact option for exercise, which can be particularly helpful for those with pelvic girdle pain. Using springs and pulleys, the reformer creates variable resistance throughout movement.

Classes are led by Laura Patterson, an experienced Physiotherapist with postgraduate training in Pregnancy Physiotherapy, Pregnancy Pilates and Pregnancy reformer. With only 6 participants in class, we are able to ensure you are performing the exercises safely and with the optimum form, as well as offering education and forging friendships along the way.

We would love to see you in class from 12 weeks of pregnancy, as long as your health professional is happy for you to be exercising.

Classes currently run on a Monday at 5pm.
Classes run on a pay-as-you-go basis at £12.00 each. We hope this allows you more flexibility than signing up for a 6-pack at £65. However, please note that the 6-pack is non-refundable or transferable to other class types.
